No embossing. Eight sided "pedestal" type milk glass shear top ink. Household Ink Octagonal, wide base carrying a narrower, tall body. Shear or burst lip. Opal / Milk glass. 1.5 oz. 55 mm. 1880s-1890s
Very Good. Nice unusual bottle. Has chipping around half the shear lip, looks to be down as much as 3 mm in one place, could well be from manufacture. There is a short 5 mm fracture in the midst of this chipping. Base has a 4 x 4 x 1 mm chip on one corner. Some stain internally and a few scuffs and marks. Displays well. Grade: 7.1 Estimate: $20 - 30
