Excellent. Superb rare lid, a nice blue colour really makes the print jump out at you, the print is amazingly crisp and detailed. There is a 25 mm scratch to the face to the right and below the trade mark. Another short scratch across the crown. A short scratch at the top front edge. Some other light scratches to the face. A couple of tiny dark spots to the outer rim. The tiniest of flakes to the lower flange, less than 1 x 1 mm and barely noticeable at all. Very light crazing and discolouration in a couple of sections under the lid. One of the rarest Melbourne lids available and in this superb condition is a must for any serious pot lid collector. This lid comes with a lovely clean base. Grade: 8.6 Estimate: $4500 - 5500
