19th Century English Victorian Corkscrew, Thomason-type Brass, Copper and Bone with Brush.. Miscellaneous. Bottle Opener. 19th Century English Victorian Corkscrew, Thomason-type Brass, Copper and Bone with Brush. 140 mm. 19th century
Very Good. (N/A). Bone handle has a split or two, nothing bad. Some discolouration. An amazing, and very early corkscrew, probably Victorian. Has a dual action with opposing threaded shaft inside a shaft so that when you fully open in one direction, it engages the second section which turns the opposite way, quite ingenious meaning you screw the screw into the cork and simply keep turning and it pulls the cork out! Sought after corkscrew. Estimate: $300-400
