Goldfields Pickle. Large size. Ribbed all 4 sides. Registration Diamond. Straight/Chamfered corner edges, earlier type, later ones are rounded here. . Goldfields. Pickle. Square section but with ribs to centre of each panel and curved to the very square edges. Applied lip. Aqua. Quart (well bigger than a standard Pint). 208 mm. 1850s
Good. (6.8). Dull and stained. Has had some baby oil on it that has yellowed in places. About 55 mm of the underside of the applied top has either chipped away or been chipped in making. 18 x 3 mm burst bubble down the inner top. Scratches and wear. 19 x 13 mm burst bubble above the base edge to the middle of one side. Large registration Diamond to base is not readable in parts. Unusual earlier type with the sharply square edges. Estimate: $150-300
